Overview[]
Cutler Beckett was a soldier on Port Royal. He became more powerful and was known as Lord Beckett. His main goal is to defeat Captain Jack Sparrow. This character is very short compared to other characters. He can be seen stepping off of a chair to talk to other characters. His assistant Ian Mercer does all the dirty work for him. He later got the heart of Davy Jones and commanded Jones to destroy pirate ships, Jones did this a bit too well.
Role in the story[]
Lord Beckett arrives at Elizabeth's failed wedding and arrests her for helping Captain Jack Sparrow escape. He then sends Will Turner to find Jack so he can obtain his compass and use it to find Davy Jones's heart. Luckily for him James Norrington brings the heart directly to him. In return Beckett promotes him admiral.
Beckett now has control over Davy Jones and is using him to hunt down pirates so that the East India Trading Company can sell their goods more effectively. However after Jack Sparrow and Will kill Davy Jones. Beckett is destroyed along with his ship and the Company by the Black Pearl and The Flying Dutchman.

- He is Voice 18, but his voice clips are a little high-pitched.
